Meet Scott Koscielniak who is the owner operator of Virtues Professional Pest Control LLC. I have been working in the Pest Industry since 2016. I started my career as a technician, promoting to a training manager, and then national training and implementation specialist before opening Virtues in 2025. I earned my Associate Certified Entomologist certification from the Entomological Society of America in 2022. I am licensed and insured.

My passion is pest control and the pest control industry. I have trained hundreds of pest professionals in my career.

Virtues Story

Working as a police officer beginning in 2008, I never would have imagined that I would have left the department I worked for to become a Pest Control Professional. I made the switch in 2016 and began my journey in Pest Control. I quickly realized that solving peoples pest problems brought me great joy! As time went on I wanted to venture out on my own to provide pest control services for the Denton, MD community and surrounding.

Working in the pest control industry since 2016 allowed me to see what is truly important to customers. The expertise to get the job done right, the communication so customers know what is going on at the property, reading notes on the account to be sure things are being done correctly and showing up on time to clients properties for service. I am fueled by the challenge of redefining the standard of service in the pest control industry. In 2025 I set out to build a company that will adhere to these important issues for customers. I wanted to give a true local option to customers surrounding the community I live in. Living in the area gives a unique advantage in knowing the pest issues that plague homes and businesses in our area. This is pest control built for the community by a community member.
